Welcome
TagCommons is a place and a process for us to create ways to share and interoperate over tagging data. We believe that the world should have the benefits of rich social tagging across applications, communities, and spaces.
The TagCommons site has been in storage for some time, so please forgive the dust and bits of spammy detritous that has collected. It is made up of this blog for general announcements, position statements, and news; and a set of mailing lists for general communication.

what happend to this site … no activity? I just read Tom Gruber’s article “Ontology of Folksonomy: A Mash-up of Apples and Oranges” which relates to this site. I am currently thinking of oragnizing our “tagcloud” trough clustering and consolidating. I would appreaciate if your initiative would continue.
